My fiance and I just returned from a lovely trip to the World.
We had a great time but couldn't help but be disappointed by the lack of basically anything special about True Love week. It was a factor in us booking during this week and there was hardly anything different for the week. The only main differences were at MK in the form of special photo opportunities (3-4) and the princesses were appearing with their princes (for a 120 minute wait). We found out later there was a special show with the princesses and their princes but didn't know about this until we were back at the resort at the end of the day as it wasn't highly publicized.
I just think there was so much more they could've done with this! Imagine in Epcot each country sharing how their cultures celebrate love or DHS highlighting romance films. I don't know... I just expected more than a few extra photo opps if this is what WDW's entire theme is built on offering special weeks. Besides our one day in MK, there wasn't anything different. Disney could've done so much better.
