I've been reading threads about LTM ( limited time magic) And how bad it is..

Disney seems to be "HIGHLIGHTING" things that are already done, and putting the LTM stamp on them..

So what would you do?
I've seen a couple of good things others would have done and would love to hear more..

Here are mine
1. Retried character M&G ( loved this, and should do this again)
2. Surprise FP lanyards ( year of million dreams)
3. Dress characters in different clothes.. (Mickey in Hawaiin shirt, princess minnie! ( she was wonderful in DL)

Ok now it's your turn.... GO!

I've posted before that they should randomly pick people from around the castle and give them a quick tour of the Castle Suite - with maybe some little souvenir as a memento.

I did see your OP.. I had hoped you would post it! I didn't want to steal it.. But this is at the top of my list!!!

)
2. Surprise FP lanyards ( year of million dreams)

Eh, we got one of those lanyards. It didn't come with any FP, it was just a lanyard. We also got mickey ears- different trip, same year.

#1. Bring back ye old E-ride ticket nights! Only make it more than MK! Add some extras like special food items, live music, prince or villain-type characters...

I'd be happy with extra FP's. Give me a golden FP, good for any ride, any park, any day of my stay.

One time a young family member got to MK early and was invited to ride Pooh, sitting beside Pooh! It made the trip! I have also been in line for Peter Pan, and had Peter pop up- though he did not ride the attraction. Even that was kind of fun. Maybe the princesses could show up for some (princess) attractions.

I think surprising guests with something like a room full of characters- where they did not have to wait in line to see them. That's fun.

They also have several pavilllion spaces in Epcot where they can hold special events. Again, I don't want to buy tickets, or wait in line for an hour...I want cast members to surprise guests with a secret character meal.

It would also be fun if they did something fun like give a a few random hotel guests VIP parking for a week.

Just thought of another one!

The sword and stone show!!! Why can't they bring that back????

Turn the Imagination theater into a 4D preview center (Oz, Lone Ranger, Monsters U, Frozen, whatever Marvel movie is coming up) for the rest of the year (change out the movie/preview every few months--heck, perhaps even promoting blu-ray/dvd releases if nothing big is coming out in the Disney family in a given time period) with 4D effects...giving them time to develop a new, cutting-edge 4D film for the theater long term (the real magic is the marketing budgets of these films helps pay for the change-over of each film from one to the next and then when it's all done an Epcot attraction that sorely needed attention has ended up the better for limited time magic attention).

I think some special stuff revolving around the characters would be really neat & fun! I & a PP have already suggested elsewhere a Disney Afternoon Week. You could do all sorts of fun character themes like Villains Week, Dog Lovers Week (think 101 Dalmations, Oliver & Co, Lady & the Tramp, etc) And with these have TRULY limited merchandise or themed snacks.

I'd bring back the Pirate and Princess Party back for a couple of nights.

^^^^ THIS PLEASE I hope they bring it back for Pirate Week (which I can only guess is in September but I'd like to know for sure cuz I wanna go!)

1) Tapestry for one week
2) Retro Week. In which we get E Tickets and old 1971 Park Maps and other souvenirs they might of given out when the park first opened.
3) Night Safaris week at DAK.
4) Disney Afternoon week. Remember Duck Tales!!!
5) I love parades and would love to see a LTM at MK centered around them. I know that is not possible to have all the parades back do to $$ but how about some combination of past parades?
6) Christmas in July. Let’s have the Christmas parade in July for one week.
7) How about "you" ! So you just rode Soarin and you can’t get enough and want to go one more time. So stay on it!
8) Duffy Bear takes a Holiday week. you can great duffy at every WS country wearing a costume authentic to the country.
9) Same goes for all the Fab five. I want to see Minnie wearing a Kimono!!

We got Year of a Million Dreams fast passes, which is what I think the pp is talking about. They were on a lanyard but had one tab for each major attraction that served as a past pass. So awesome!

Yup...
But even if they just started handed out FP that would be ok to!
