Ok, so I am trying to plan our upcoming September trip. We will be there the week of September 7-16. We want to go to MNSSHP and were thinking about going to the second party of they year which is Friday the 13th. But that is also the ngiht of the Villians Bash. So I was thinking that if we want to do both parties we would have to attend the first party of the year on Tuesday the 10th. I'm thinking that the crowds for the Tuesday party might be higher because of many people also wanting to do both parties. So my question is this.... do you think it would be worth it to try to do both parties? Does anyone think they will just have the same villians that you can meet normally or have any information on this at all? I guess I'm wondering if we should try to deal with heavier crowds both at the MNSSHP and at Hollywood Studios the day or the Villians Bash. We are myself, my husband, DD (8) and DS (2). I just really wanted to hear someone's opinion on this because my husband has no idea what I'm even talking about since I do all the planning and he just shows up when and where I tell him basically!!

I don't know that any of us can help much, because the Villains Bash hasn't been done before. Don't know what villains will be there, don't know how crowds will be affected. I think just go with what you want to do and have fun is about the best advice I can give you on such limited info.

I was torn to, as we are there for this as well. I was reading the LTM description and I'm afraid, at least to me it doesn't read like there is going to be photo and autograph opportunities. It reads like a great big free for all with dancing etc..with the villains (like the MNSHHP dance parties) with some limited merchandise thrown in, my guess is t-shirts, some pins and maybe a vinylmation??? BUT no one knows for sure. I'm just guessing this is it so I am passing.

I've been debating this as well. I went to the first party last year and it did seem more crowded than previous years when I went to the second or third. For that reason I'm hoping to avoid the first party this year.

Unfortunately there's just no way of knowing how the LTM at Studios will affect attendance at the Fri night party. It's possible that LTM could be a significant draw even for locals that would have normally gone to the 9/13 MNSSHP.

I'm leaning toward adjusting our plans so that we will be there for the 3rd party on 9/17. As for the 9/13 LTM event we are planning on going to MK during the day, staying for the party if we decide to go to that one or more likely going to Epcot till It closes then going by DHS and checking it out to see if it is crazy crowded. If not we will check it out late. Hopefully it will begin to slow down about 11 pm and the ride waits will be short. Given the other LTM events I'm not to overly optimistic that this event itself will be much.
