I just found out that there is going to be the 4th of July fireworks the 1st-7th of july...sooo annoyed because that means Wishes isn't going to be played. Wishes is my favorite and I have to see it so I have to rearrange my plans now!

Other food news: I Definitely want to try these yummy treats .

Across the Resort, you will also find treats inspired by our traditional American celebration. You’ll be able to try the Red, White and Blue Strawberry Shortcake at Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom Park and the Fourth of July Cupcake with apple pie filling, caramel buttercream and apple crisp topping at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney. At Epcot, you can taste the Skillet-Baked Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Whipped Cream or the Red, White and Blue “Baked Alaska” Mousse.

First complaint that I've read about this.

Most are happy that they don't have to try to crowd into MK (or the Poly beach, etc.) only on July 3 & 4 this year.

Hope you find a way get to see regular Wishes! :thumbsup2

Disney can't win.

No need to mock me.

I am just frustrated that I just found this out 2 weeks before my trip. I will get over it but I thought people on here would understand. Guess not

I guess I am excited about the possibility of not having to see the fireworks on the 3rd.

That sucks! The concept of limited Time Magic is cool but I won't be happy of it throws a wrench in my carefully planned vacation either. You spend so much time planning just to have them thrown out for you.

Exactly!:) I don't see why they need to have 4th fireworks for 7 nights!

Bummer! While the majority of guests will welcome this, I can totally understand, especially if you love the Wishes experience and it brings you back to good memories of other trips...

I am sorry you are disappointed. I like going and being able to see Wishes and the special fireworks too. However Disney announced this a few months ago.

As far as it ruining some people's vacation, it will only ruin it if you allow it. Remember the Castle Cake? That thing was up for almost a whole year! I didn't like it at all, but not being able to see the castle in its natural glory didn't ruin my trip.

Also, we all need to remember that everything is subject to change. There is no guarantee that what we love and enjoy one year will be there the next time we go. Parades change, rides change, fireworks change. Got to soak it all in while you are there!
