I didn't see a thread about this already. I assume this even is what is considered the limited time magic for the entire week of April 29th-May 5th.

For one day only, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will present a “Limited Time Magic” event for the annual, fan-proclaimed “Star Wars Day,” May 4 – a date that Star Wars fans worldwide turn into a celebratory pun, “May the Fourth Be With You!”
May The Fourth Be With You at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Separate from our month-long Star Wars Weekends special event (which begins May 17), this “Limited Time Magic” celebration features special Star Wars entertainment, characters, commemorative merchandise, a Star Wars dance party and a Star Wars-themed fireworks show to cap off the day.

You might even find yourself sitting next to Chewbacca aboard Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. Star Wars characters will make surprise appearances on the 3-D attraction to enjoy the wild journey through space alongside park guests.

A special edition of Jedi Training Academy also is planned that day, with parents invited to join their children (ages 4-12, sign-ups required on first-come basis) on-stage for the training and final showdown with the Empire.

When the sun goes down, galactic fun lights the night as Lobot (from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back) takes over as DJ for a dance party that will be highlighted by a special Star Wars fireworks show.

“May the Fourth Be With You” “Limited Time Magic” park activities and shows are included in regular admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

I am not personally a Star Wars fanatic, however ds7 is. Seems to me for how many poor "ltm" things they have done, they got this one right! Glad to see something more than a "special" hat or teeshirt offered. I bet this will make a lot of people happy:) wish they thought all the ltm ideas out this much!

To me it seems they have heard about how these LTM have been very boring.

The last couple have been interesting

That's the day we arrive. I think we'll hop over to DHS for a couple hours and just see how crazy it is. I'm curious about the fireworks.

How do you think this will effect crowds that day? It is a Saturday so I would guess it will draw lots of locals too!

I think the crowds were already going to be big for HS that day because it was a EMH park AND it was staying open till 12. So I'm not sure how much more this will change it. I might go over to see how busy it is. :goodvibes

Wow! DH would flip. He stood and watched the Jedi Training Academy a couple times during our recent trip, and he's very excited for when DS will be able to participate.
If HE got to participate....

As for the crowds....last week was Fairies Week...and the line at Tink's Nook was at 40 minutes right at 9:15 (which is when it opens) on the day we did it.

Since this Limited Time Magic is a Saturday thing, I would not be surprised if extra locals show up. It's not a usual Star Wars Weekend...

Holy cow the rush to tsmm, will be nothing compared to the parents running to sign up for Jedi Training!

Slightly OT, it has been said that next week's LTM is going to be a Cinco de Mayo celebration at Epcot's Mexico pavilion. And Panchito and Jose are going to be coming out for meet-and-greets for the occasion along with Donald at that event!

Ooooooh!! I love this!! I'm glad our trip spans two LTM weeks!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! :(

Finally a REAL LTM and we're all HUGE Star Wars fans but sadly we missed it by one week (just got home Sunday).
