Limited Restaurant Times?

My husband and I will be able to visit just one park for one day at the end of the month, so we're doing MGM (he's never been there). I wanted us to have reservations and thought we'd do an early lunch at PTC and a late dinner at Sci Fi. I was told that PTC doesn't open until noon, and Sci Fi was closing at 6! Yet the park is open until 8. I was surprised at the short restaurant hours. Is this unusual?
Oh...and one more question...I don't see burgers on SciFi's dinner menu. Can we not get them then?

That doesn't make since to me. I would call back and try with another CM.
We were there in June and PTC was open at 11 am for lunch. They should schedule dinner for up to park closing time as well.

We made our ADR's last week and were also told that PTC was opening at 12:00...I don't know about Sci-Fi though...hope this helps!

I was told that PTC's regular opening is at 12, however based on crowd estimates and amount of ADRs, particularly during the busy season, they may choose to open earlier. I would call back about 2 weeks before you leave and see if anything has changed.
