Limit of Express Pass's sold each Day

Is there a limit on the number of express passes that are sold each day? My family is going to US/IOA for the first time in July. With WWOHP opening, it seems that more people will be purchasing the express pass due to the crowds. If too many are sold, would this cause the express line waits to be as long as the stand-by lines? Has anyone been to US/IOA during a busy time and had this happen? Thanks!

There is supposedly a limited number but no one seems to know what the number is. WWoHP will make the lines very long throughout the park so having an EP is a good idea. You can purchase them at the park if you wanted to wait...which I would advise. The EPs are non-refundable and date specific so you would have to go on whatever date you chose...if you purchased them ahead of time. Some Express lines can sometimes get to 30 minutes during the summer depending on the attraction.
