Lime ribbons, nobody wore them

Ok Cindy in Ny , I will be there at the same time, and will have my lime green mickey head, Say Hi if you see me!!!

Just last night I laminated 2 lime green home depot mickey heads together. On one side I wrote my name, resort and the dates we will be there. On the flip side I wrote my dis user name and attached it to my backpack. Hope to see alot of lime green mickey heads in October !

The lime green mickey heads are found at Home Depot. They are actually paint chips from the paint dept.

They do go fast though ( I guess all those Dis'ers.

I got mine at Home Depot in the paint section where they have the color swatches...that's essentially what it is.

Last year I was there during DISCON and can you believe I never saw a Lime Green Ribbon?
I wore one, my mom wore one and we even tied it onto our door handle of our room in the ASMusic!!
This year Im wearing my wonderful DIS pin that TownCrier made for us, it is Lime Green and Says DIS and StaceyA on it!!
I was really debating against wearing the ribbon this year since it was so disapointing last year......

Home Depot is now carrying Disney Brand paint from Behr. Their paint chips are all Mickey Heads.

Just wander into the store, browse the display and come home with some green paint chips.

I was in WDW 7/24-28 and had lime green ribbons tied to my waist pack. No one said any thing to me and I didn't notice anyone else having lime green on. But I will keep trying b/c I would love to meet some DISers.

We will be there from Sept. 11th to Sept. 20th. I don't have a lime gree ribbon, but I will have a lime green tote bag, its plastic and large. I will also be pushing a double stroller with 2 of my DGC in it. I would love to meet some fellow DIS'ers so if you see me please stop and say hello.

I've used the self stick laminating sheets you get at OfficeMax to Laminate the 4x6 Index cards I use to print our schedule and trip information on.

They would be big enough to Laminate the Mickey Head.

Wow - great minds think alike! I also laminated lime green Mickey heads for luggage tags and fanny pack ID! I will be there the same week as you, so maybe we will see each other

I think maybe the ratio of non-disers to disers in the parks is so great that perhaps the chances of meeting another diser is pretty small...but I will have my lime green ribbons/mickey heads on and be on the lookout for other disers anyway

WOW, I'm glad to see that the lime green ribbons didn't die. I certainly will wear mine next trip. I couldn't get lime green mickey heads at my home depot, they were all gone, I had to settle for other colors ( I know its not the same thing,but I had no choice.)I did laminate them for my backpacks with the resort on mickeys ear and my name on other ear. I'll be looking for lime green for next year trip.

Y'all wondering if Home Depots ALL over the country are wondering what the heck is going on with lime green paint samples?!?!? LOL! HD Exec...."Hmmmmmm the samples are flying out the door but nobody's buying that color!"

I stopped in and picked some up in June! They're really cute so I took a few other colors I liked,I figured I'll find something to do with them!l

I bought a little package of laminating sheets at CVS for $1.99 they fit the mickey heads perfect ! It was a set of 5 so I did luggage tags for my mom and 2 dd's.

We wore our lime green Mickey heads from Home Depot as pins. I laminated them and put the self sticking pin backs on them. We wore them on our shirts, on our backpacks, etc...but never seen anyone else with one. Oh well, maybe next time.
