Lime Green

I am wondering, back in the 1990s and 2000s, when I started on the DIS, DISsers going to WDW would put a lime green Mickey head in their resort window and/or on their person. I know I had a lime green ribbon on my backpack for the longest time. This was so you could be identified as a DISser and meet others.

Is lime green still a DIS color? Do any other old timers remember this?

i remember it! i still have some custom stickers in an old photo album someone on a dis cruise thread we participated on had made for all of who were going on the same cruise. we all met up at a hotel/lounge the night before departure near the port and recognized each other by our stickers. caught up with others when we boarded the ship. it was a fun way to finally meet up with people who had been chatting on that thread for the better part of a year or more!

I still have some of the lime geen Mickey head paint samples. I wore it on my bag in the parks several times. I even had my username and a Pooh pic on it.

I remember it! We still have a roll of lime green ribbon we bought and used at WDW I'm 2001

I’m going to have to find my old DIS pins and post them on here. I’ll try and do that tomorrow

My room at one point my bedroom was Mickey Pants Red with Mouse Ears Black trim.

My Laundry room is currently Buzz Lightyear Green (Lime Green).

I take my paint chips to Disney every time we go and tape them in the room window. I also have small safety pins with lime green ribbon tied to them, that I used to pin on my park bag or shirt to wear into the parks. Might just break these out for our trip next week!
(except the ticker is worn, it's 1 week and 4 days... leaving 8/17 )

Yup, I remember. I had a different user name way back then. I wore my lime green 2002 DISCon lanyard on my latest trip in July to celebrate 20 years since that wonderful meet up of DISers.

Definitely remember - might still have some buried somewhere. Used the ribbon/stickers for WDW and cruises. We had some nice cruise meets way back.
