Lime Green Luggage

We have a set of lime-green Samsonites: A huge rolling bag of about 40 gallons volume, a large garment bag, a carry-on, and a small bag intended for toiletries. I believe in 'loud' colours for luggage as this facilitates spotting your stuff in the baggage claim.

I bought this in a store near Belfast about a year ago. It was so outrageously lime-green that I just had to have it! And it's HUUUUGE!!

You would be surprised just how many sets are really out there!

I am in the process of buying new luggage for our August trip! Tempted but only if the price is right!

Saw these at our Carson's store..they are really pretty cool...also come in purple if you so desire....I liked them..if I had any extra $$$$ around I would've gotten them for sure. I love that they are not the norm, and I would proudly pull them thru any airport! I would however, have to do them up Tinkerbell style, or at the very least add a mickey head somewhere.

There was a 5 piece lime green set in the gift shop of the Holiday Inn Select Airport in Orlando. It was tempting to get it.

I'll have to look in the store. Maybe I'll write down the UPC numbers and compare them to the set online. I am wondering if you could call and order by UPC number and get just the piece you want?

I did find a couple of sets at Penneys online....I wonder if there is a free shipping code out there. I guess lime green is also known as citrus.

My Boston Store (same as Herbergers - just a different part of the country) only had about 3 lime green sets left when I got out of work tonight.

But I picked one up for DD's birthday! She's going to love it!!!

When I went to Herberger's, they were sold out of the special priced set so I could not see it other than online. The only lime green luggage they had was over $100 for the wheeled piece and $70 for the carry-on and those were the sale prices.

When I went to Penney's and asked about the set I have linked above, they said they don't carry any of the luggage that is online in the stores....you can only get it online.

So, I guess you order, if you want one, and take your chances with what it looks like....
