Only two more sleeps til we're off to DLRP (and one of those sleeps will be very short), so I thought I'd share our plans with you. My kids think it is hilarous that I have made a sort of vague itintery and have taken to calling me Monica (from Friends) :rolleyes1

We are spending 4 nights (16th-20th July) in the SL. We haven't stayed there before - have stayed in Santa Fe and Newport Bay.

Day 1

We plan to be up at about 3-3.30am on Monday morning, to leave for the airport at 4am. Our flight is at 6am but we want to get there with plenty time, given the recent security scares up here.

We are using BS Transport to get from airport to hotel so hope to arrive between 11am-12pm, drop off our bags and head into Disney Studios, grabbing a quick bite to eat on the way.

Once the kids have done Rockin' Roller Coaster to death we'll head back to the hotel, get our room, freshen up, then head into Disneyland Park. We have booked dinner at Walt's for 6pm, then will do a few more rides before having an early night.

Day 2

We plan to have an early breakfast (before 7.30am) in order to beat the rush, then go back to our rooms to get ready and head into the park as soon as possible. We have dinner booked for 18.00 at the Blue Lagoon and will probably stay in the park until closing.

Day 3

Today we want to take advantage of EMH and intend on heading to the park for 8am and having GMF breakfast around 9.30am. We will probably visit the Studios in the afternoon before heading back to the hotel to change and freshen up before going to the 9.30pm showing of Buffalo Bill's. After this the kids are keen to try Hurricaine's nightclub, though i am aware it hasn't got brilliant reviews from you lot. What time to the other bars close?

Day 4

By now I think we will all need a lie in. We will probably sleep as long as we like (missing breakfast) then see what the day holds. We plan to eat at King Ludwigs tonight.

Day 5

Another early breakfast before heading into the park, and a late lunch at the Rainforest Cafe before being picked up at 5.15pm :sad1:

We have a print out of the show/parade times and will play it by ear where they are concerned. It remains to be seen whether we can stick to my itinery! Am really excited now, and praying for good weather as the forecast for Monday is rain. But forecasts are generally rubbish.

Hi
We arrive in DLP on the 6th August staying at the Dream Castle for 7 days.
I am curious to know how you reserved your tables in advance and was it easy. Full info would be appreciated.

You can book meals up to 60 days in advance on 00 33 1 60 30 40 50 apart from Planet Hollywood, Annette's and The Rainforest Cafe ~ these don't take reservations.

There are lots of reviews in our Restaurant FAQ sticky, also check out this site here. :)

Thank Goodness I read this thread... I booked our third trip in march and booked the restaurants just to avoid disappointment but never knew I could only book resturants up to 60 days in advance:confused3 So called DLRP today and my name wasn't on any of the lists but luckily managed to book all the restaurants we wanted to go to:hippie: Very happy and excited now.:yay: .

Hope you have a magical time there, I know we will. Only 6 sleeps to go:banana:
