Lilo's Clubhouse versus Sandcastle

Looking for advice, our kids did the Sandcastle (the Disney childcare center at the Beach club) last summer, this year we are staying at Poly. Is the one there just as good? They just loved the Sandcastle so much they want to go back...but its easier on us to do the one at the resort we are at. Anyone have experience with it?

The activities are slightly different, as are the characters. At Lilos they don't have Chip and Dale, but usually have Captain Hook. Both places have cooking and the Hula, but Lilos might do a lava themed activity as well. They aren't very far off from each other in terms of offerings, so your kiddos will love it if they liked Sandcastle!

My DS9 has done both multiple times and loves both. Lilo's is much better themed IMHO and is more "magical" looking than Sandcastle. If you are staying at Poly, I would give it a try. Maybe pull up some pictures or video online to try to get them excited about a different club?

Can't speak for Sandcastle but my daughter LOVED Lilo's. She was disappointed when we arrived to pick her up. We mentioned potentially staying at the Poly in a couple years and asked if she would want to go back and she emphatically said yes. So I don't think they will have a bad time even if they end up having a preference for Sandcastle.

We were at the Poly in December and they had Chip & Dale at Lilo's. My daughter BEGGED us to go multiple nights.

I did check with Disney, and although no one I spoke too seemed to really know that much about the childcares, the person I was transferred too could tell me both Lilo and Sandcastle were "updated" about a year ago and do the same types of activities. While I would have expected Captain Hook at the Poly, the kids said he was at the Sandcastle last year. I am hoping they will get Chip and Dale at the Poly this year, because I know they would both love that. We have booked them in the Poly.
