Hi, from the U.S.!

My 14 yr old DS will be traveling to England with a soccer team in April, to play 3 games against British teams and see a bit of England while they're there. (DD#1 is in college, and DD#2 will be in Spain the same week, so DH and I will be in WDW. :)) They're planning a shopping trip to Lillywhites. I think what the tourguide said is that they will be heading straight to the 2nd(?) floor for soccer items. What types of things do they sell there? It sounds like it's a huge store; I'm just trying to prepare myself for how crazy he's going to go wanting to spend money there. All I can think of is soccer shirts (different countries) and shoes, and other clothing. :confused3 What else would they have?

Thanks for any info. :)

From reading here it would appear that the store is not what it used to be. Having said that the prices should be failry reasonable. I am thinking it will be mainly shirts etc.

Claire ;)

Its not a particularly big store. Seems rather cramped and untidy. Just sells sport stuff!!!! both equipment and clothing. Prices are about the same as JJB Sports shops. Premiership football shirts cost about £35.

The Lillywhites near me (Dalton Park in the North-East) sells everything sporty. Track/jogging suits, socks, trainers and equipment. It's just a sports shop so you could name something and they'd sell it - obviously catering to the British consumer so I would not expect too much in the way of American sports equipment.
