Just found out the Railroad won't be open when we are at DL in several weeks; is the Lilly Belle sitting somewhere? I though I read you could still see her even during the refurb?

It was, but they're testing the trains now and I don't believe you can access the station.

Went last week, they did have one train at the NO Square station that you could walk up and talk to the conductor and do photo ops in front of. I don't remember which one it was but I don't think the lily belle was attached.

Has anyone heard if the Lilly Belle will be taking passengers again once the railroad is back open fully? tia! :)

On our visit in March the Lilly Belle was sitting at the front train station.

As of May, they moved the trains off the track so they could start testing the tracks. On Friday, they had the hand car on the rails going thru Frontier land.

I doubt we will know if it will reopen to the general public again, until it reopens. I know they stopped allowing riders before the closure due to damage to the car.
This is so sad!!! Makes me mad that people don't have any respect for things. You would think that someone who would DELIBERATELY seek out a ride on the Lilly Belle would be a person who would have the utmost respect for things. Just grinds me.

There's also just normal wear and tear to the carpet and upholstery and fading to the items from being out in the sun.

Yes, but there was also an item taken that required a screw driver to remove. Somehow the conductor was distracted and the item went missing.
