Lillian vernon costume

Has anyone ordered a costume from Lillian Vernon? How does the quality compare to Disney's? Do they have a zipper instead of velcrow in the back? Thanks!

I used to get costuems from LV for my older son. They were great. the past few years I have gotten costumes for my youngest at baby styles. they only go to 3T but the were some of the best constructed costumes I had found.

I have bought the Cinderella and the Sleeping Beauty from Lillian Vernon and like them better than the ones we've bought from disneyshopping.com (ariel, sleeping beauty) or even the expensive ones at the world (belle, ariel wedding, jasmine). The quality is excellent (we're going on 3 years of heavy use without tears, much unlike the ones from the world). Zipper back and nice trims. They are simple, not too sparkly, and really look like the characters in their movies more than any others I've seen. The material may be "itchy" for some -- not the satiny-polyester like others and they do run a bit large, but I think they are the best.

I also purchased the Sleeping Beauty costume for my daughter from Lillian Vernon. I have had it now for about two years. It is really nicely made. It does have a zipper in the back. It is very well made, with nice details. When my daughter wears the costume the skirt at the bottom always looks nice and full. I would highly recommend purchasing one of their "Disney" costume.
