Lillian 'Vernon - Connections

Has anyone joined connections through Lillian Vernon? If so,
did you receive your 2 free movie passes and a rebate restaurant voucher. I wanted to know if you had to be a member when trying to get your rebate of 20.00.

When you join through Lillian Vernon..you get a postcard you have to mail in. They then send you a form to claim your $20, when you send in proof of a dinner. ..and I believe you have ot be a member at the time. I did not get two free movie passes..but I did get two passes that say I can pay $5 and see a movie. Was I suppose to get two free movies as well? I didn't see that written anywhere..and I was told about the other on this board ($20)

Do you think being a member for 30 days will give me enough time to get the rebate. I was thinking of joining 2 weeks before we leave hopefully, get the postcard to mail back and eat at hardrock and mail the rebate as soon as we get home. When I called they said 2 free movie passes,but maybe it is just a 5.00 certificate. Did you continue to be a member or just try it for a month. Thank you for info.

I don't know if it's long enough. I'm staying in an extra month, becasue I bought a bunch of Olive Garden and other cards, and want to get my $2 each back.

You get 2 movie coupons...........they say "redeem with $5.00 at the box office" Loews Cineplex! Our movies are $5.50 so that's not saving much (day time). 2 free popcorn coupons as well good only Mon-Thurs.

Thirty Days is most likely not going to be long enough as it normally takes 2-3 weeks to receive your welcome material.
You are still joining Connections through Lillian Vernon's terms so I suspect the turnaround will remain the same. Also the voucher for reimbursement will say 6-8 weeks for processing, so I would allow enough time for that also.
I belong to Connections through Connections and the rebates normally post on my next month's CC statement, but the vouchers takes about 6 weeks. I have vouchers that can be redeemed monthly for keeping my membership.
