My son is 5 years old and loves slides and poolsand all the fun stuff..... :goodvibes .I also ordered to stay in the rooms in the 1000's since I heard those were the newer ones..... The price seemed great too.....Has any one stayed here? If so,, can you please share your experience....
thanks...... :cool2:

No but I almost stayed there. I read to many mixed reviews on tripadvisor so I changed my mind and stayed on disney property.

We stayed there last november. It was a nice place and pretty close to Disney, Publix, and Super Walmart. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. My DD and DH loved the "waterpark" It was just the right size for them...not too big and crowded. There was a stacked washer/dryer and a good sized kitchen and a large dining room table. It was plenty of room for our family of 4 to have space to move around and not feel cramped. We do not own there, but were given the week as a gift from some friends. We were in an older unit and I was disappointed at first, but it was all fine.

i have close relatives who have time share. they stay at like tike alot. and they like it. i dont know which part they stay in, but this past april my dd and friend went to visit them at liki tiki and she said they liked the place. she said the kids pool area was really cute and the food part was good. their kids always had fun there when they were younger. hope you guys have a great trip.

we stayed in newer unit, we were only in a 1 bdrm, so it was a bit cramped but still better than one hotel room. The pool area was very nice and it close to everything.

We just stayed there last month! We had a 1 bedroom unit in the 9000 building - I wish we would of had the 2 bedroom for 4 of us, but it was still OK. I loved having a washer/dryer & full kitchen. Big bathroom - one big complaint was that there was only a mirror in the bathroom - made it a little difficult when one was showering & another was trying to do hair/makeup etc. Rugs could use replacing. All in all the room was nice though. Kitchen fully equipped & beds were comfortable. The grounds were very nice. Pools were great (3 of them - 2 open until midnight)- your kids will love the slides! Bar & grill at pool is reasonable & food was good. We went for a "cheap" rate but had to take the timeshare tour - took longer than expected & made buying a timeshare sound great - but in the end we decided not to buy (boy, were the salespeople upset!). Was not a lot of pressure, but they certainly entice you! Not too far from disney, but the traffic is HORRIBLE! Be sure to plan for that. A little far from universal if you are going there.
All in all - it was a nice place to stay - hope you have a great time!:cool1:

we went in March and sorry to say- I wouldn't do it again. Now we had mixed reviews of the place. The pools were lovely although the slides are very small-anyone over 8 will be bored. The grounds are also pretty. One of the reasons we went there was all the "free" harbour stuff-mini-gulf( 9 holes of indoor/outdoor green carpet and a hole-that's it) the lagoon was closed due to an 'alligator". We never saw it-but could not use the bumper or paddle boats- a REAL let down. I think they just didn't want to pay for gas!. The room was OK. We started or trip in the older section but moved halfway due to a cockroach ! The linens do not fit the beds- how groos to roll over and be on a bare mattress ! The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable and again the linens didn't fit. There were so many other "little" things that we normally would excuse, but they started to add up. They moved us to a newer section. The rooms were nicely done with flat panel TV's-but the elevator broke and we had to lug the luggage 5 flights of stairs. They only offered us a lunch credit at the restaurant for all our troubles-and the food is crappy- and I will eat almost anything !They were also supposed to credit me 50% off one night stay and they have NEVER done it. I don't expect to ever see my money.
So I would not go there again, but I have to tell ya- my kids loved the pool and still talk about it as the best trip. Just goes to show you that sometimes we adults get so caught up in the details that we don't see the really simple stuff.
