I just saw, what appears to be a good deal on this time share, but am wondering what it's like. I'm not worried about sitting through the time-share sales pitch (although I wonder how long I'll be stuck listening to them) but really want to know if the place is nice or not. The pool area looks great...is it? and how are the two bedroom villas? Anyone been there recently? Any comments good or bad????

I, too, am looking into this. I found a rate of $70 a night, with no timeshare presentation. Is there an extra charge for the water park. Is it open late in the evening? I am also wondering if it REALLY has a WAVE pool and if any of the slides are as good as the Portofino Bay or Hard Rock or if they are all pretty small. I saw the picture of the black tube one. Thank you for any help.

The resort is nice and clean and the staff very friendly. The pool does have a Wave but don't expect the slides to be big. The water park is mostly geared toward small children and preteens, although when I was there last spring, people of all ages seemed to be having a great time. There are two additional pools in the property. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay. The villas are newer and the townhouses have recently been refurbished. The townhouses have a screen porch. :Pinkbounc

I am also interested in hearing more about this resort.

Is the resort really spread out?

Is it a new resort?

How pushy are they at the timeshare presentation?

$30 a night for a one-bedroom is a great rate! Is it too good to be true?

Thanks!

Teresa

Zaxmom,
Where did you find a $70 rate with no timeshare presentation?? I found that rate, but you had to sit through the spiel. This is one of the many places we are considering as well.

Thanks! :)

I would like to know what the 1 bdrm. condo is like. Does it have a washer/dryer? and yes, where did you find the $70 a night rate with no presentation.

Sorry. I wrote a reply, but it never showed up. I found a $77 rate at www.lodging.com and it did not say anything about a meeting. The dates I was looking at were for May. I think I also saw a $70 something rate at www.expedia.com also.
We are looking at staying at the Country Inn and Suites Calypso Cay since the Liki Tiki seems to be pretty far away from the parks and restaurants.
