Likelyhood of January Waitlist Request

Looks like most of the resorts are booked solid in January. How likely for a studio at any resort to open up?

With the MK Moonlight Magic just announced, I do not have much hope. I booked a 1 bedroom, specifically to go to one, and have been checking to see if I can get more than one night, no luck. I decided to wait list a 1 bedroom. Meanwhile, I have 2 nights in a value.

I cancelled a studio to move to a 1BR during Moonlight Madness. There may be a chance if you aren't looking for a Moonlight Madness date.

Can I ask how you found the announcement? DVC should send email out to members for events like this and NEVER do that.

I get e-mails from DVC.

I also got an e-mail regarding the Passholder magnet from Passholder site.

My 1 bedroom waitlist just disappeared, so I guess it’s being fulfilled. Would a studio waitlist come through? I do not know, but we have bought airfare for the event, I wanted to do all I could to get a place to stay.

I just pieced together a 3 night stay, same 1 bedroom at SSR for a January Moonlight Magic!

Definitely possible - I was able to cancel my 1BR reservation at SSR for around the 11th and switch to a studio at AKL Wednesday. People are still shifting as we get closer to 30 days out. I'm still holding my breath for 2 more days, lol

My UY is March, so a studio coming free would not help my point total.,, these are borrowed!
