Like I really needed MORE debt!

We have one, count it, one care for me, DW and the three kids. 122k miles. 6 trips to WDW. 3.5 YEARS of payments left. And the transmission just blew. $3000 repair. It really wasn't even worth it to fix because the engine has had me worried too. So I had to trade it in and buy a new van. I owed 7k on it, and got 2k for it. Yeah, talk about rollover.Lucky I was able to trade it in at all with the problem. They didn't even inspect it. I guess it's going to the auction. Down payment? Sure, here's my credit card. Higher monthly payments? No doubt. At least I got 5.9% on a 2000 Caravan. That's pretty good.

Sorry guys. Just feeling the crunch. It's been so terrible at work this year and commissions have been sparse. I'm trying not to scream .

Urrrghhhh. That's terrible. Hopefully with the fact that your wife is working, this will help. This example is one of the reasons that I would be terrified to quit working. That would make me physically ill. Hope this new van is a better than the old one!!!
