Like a Bad Meal (V Keeps Coming Back) - THE END! 1/12/09

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And I quote Mr. Michael "My mom says I have to fall in love with you." :lmao:

Yes, we've begun the wedding planning. Hey - if we can plan our vacations a year in advance, what's 12 years to plan a wedding...

And to continue Michael's quote...

"She says I have to marry you when I grow up"...

Maddie was looking like, OK...cool...

Hey, I only caught that in V's reply :rotfl2:

Awwww, don't forget we're all invited :rotfl2:

The nice part? The brides' families pay for the weddings! And to think I didn't even USE that as "yet another benefit to owning DVC" schpiel to Andy...think - the money you'll save owning DVC can be money towards the wedding...heh heh...

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Invited? According to Leo, you may be the mother of the bride - we were looking at pics the other night and I was asking him who people were to see if he remembered...

"That's your friend, Mommy." (meaning Jo)
"That's Ellie."
"That's their dad." (meaning David)
"That's Jessica. She loves me." :lovestruc

Me: "She does?"
Leo: "Yeah, she told me. And I love her too."

:rotfl: :goodvibes

OOOOhhh...a DOUBLE DISNEY WEDDING!!

How very Brady!!!:lmao:

:rotfl:

Awww... My heart's all melty. They are so sweet. :lovestruc

I know...me toooooooo....:cloud9:

Ok, I was going to multi-quote your last installment, but I've got some things to get done before raiding my closet to find out if I own anything that even REMOTELY says, "Soccer Mom"..:headache:

Yes, Fay really drenched and dampened all of our plans. And in the couple of days prior to departure, V, myself and Kate all discussed various paths she could take, to how we'd handle it, etc and exchanged all of the "come stay with us" should she go in yours, mine or ours directions...

I can honestly say, that in worrying about Fay, I ended up with a "I don't care" attitude. Last year I recall being a bit nervous that I planned a week's vacation in the middle of hurricane season and had a few bouts of the "what if's", but this year...come hell or high water, we were going. As long as we could GET there, I didn't care what Fay did.

Fay, obviously suffering from little storm syndrome, did her very best to drench our vacations. Mine especially. She hit - and stayed for a couple of days - while we were at Vero Beach. Then we drove up to Orlando in her rains. Then her rains caught up to us in Orlando. Where she stayed the weekend, obviously not wanting to miss FockerFest either.

But hey - it wasn't BLARINGLY hot...and I was in the company of so many good friends that weekend...so I can't say it was too bad...

I love the picture of Leo in the teacups!! I have the same one!

Of Michael. of course.

Anyway, gotta run, but...as always, an immensely enjoyable read!!

Love ya!!

Hey, you're pretty good at Buzz!!:thumbsup2
Plans...you didn't do too badly!:thumbsup2
Sudsy sandals????:rotfl: Now that's too funny!!!:lmao: At least Leo liked it instead of freaking out about it! You just never know with kids!:rotfl2:
Nice CM to take that cute pic!!:)

Volcano... must hit the volcano next time I'm competing against DH... volcano... got it!

Isn't nice to be the kind of person that can enjoy themselves, even in the rain? You guys scored with an empty park... well, minus the warm, wet butt.. ick!

That picture of Leo's sudsy sandles is a keeper.. because his little toes are so darn cute!!

Part 2 – Cometh, It Did!

Allow me to point out that we were not the last party to board. And we were the only people not wearing ponchos. So I believe there was a conscious decision made by the lodaing CM to place our dry fannies into the wettest part of the boat. Not. Nice. :sad2:

With nowhere else to go, I sat as little of me as possible onto the very edge of the seat, hovering as if the Jungle Cruise were actually a toilet in the City Hall ladies’ room. shudder I managed to perch there for a while, but my thighs began to cramp and the man sitting next to me (in his poncho – curses!) was giving me the stink-eye.

So I sat.

Aaaaallll the way back.

Eeeeewwww. It wasn’t just wet. It was warm and wet. Like… well you know. :scared:

Great, not only would it look like I’d wet my pants, it would also feel like I’d wet my pants.

I'm :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I just got a "V" Visual here.

So sorry V:guilty:

;)

!

What No Pic of your "Fuming Backside" :confused3 Or would that be "Foaming backside":lmao:

I love the foamy sandals.
Aren't they a riot?!

V, is your luck turning? Well, with the scary folks the other day, maybe not.
Exactly! I'd say I'm about 50/50.

This is the morning I gave up I think, and slept in! Sounds like a decent morning tho!
Would have been a nice day to sleep, too! :goodvibes

::I would have been discrete when I pointed at you and said:

"Look Jon. That lady peed in her pants."

I would have said it real quiet like. :rolleyes1
:lmao:

A deserted rainy morning at MK sounds so fun....especially when foamy sandals are involved! Hilarious! :rotfl: I am so curious about what could have caused that.
Me too! I did notice when we got home that they're treated to be anti-microbial. :confused3

You know, the morning we did EMH at AK, all had with me were the APs...I had left the keys to the world in the room with DH and #3 (who desperately needed some sleep) and they let me in with the older two boys no questions asked. What's up with that?
We've doen the same thing in the past, too. mehtink they don't much care who's there in the morning!
And thanks for worrying about me
Of course!

Dude? Fay rocked! :woohoo: I loved Fay and her cooler temps. I loved Fay and the fact that she kept the wimps in their hotel rooms. (NOwimps ;) )
::yes::
Ok, we need to talk about this. I NEVER, I mean NEVER get over 150K at DLR or WDW. We need to ride together next time.
Well, if they'd have let us put the kids in a car by themselves, we could've!
Volcanos. Volcanos. Volcanos. :thumbsup2
Does the 5 second rule not apply in WDW?
Do you really need to ask? :crazy2:

I like Disney in the rain as long as it is not the sideways come up the poncho kind.
Yep, the direction makes all teh difference!

Of course the cream cheese side fell down. Isn't that always the way
Seriously.

An update from Princess V is just what I needed today. :cloud9: We got very bad news today and lost a dear friend in an automobile accident. We're all so sad so thanks for taking me away from that for a few minutes so I could enjoy a rainy MK day with V & Leo!
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! Glad I could take you away for a bit.

great score on Buzz.
Thanks! Might be my best non-cheating score.

Only you would use porte corchere.
:rotfl:

Sudsy shoes?!?
I wonder if Teva knows there's a market out there for them?!

Yes, we've begun the wedding planning. Hey - if we can plan our vacations a year in advance, what's 12 years to plan a wedding...
::yes::

Ok, I was going to multi-quote your last installment, but I've got some things to get done before raiding my closet to find out if I own anything that even REMOTELY says, "Soccer Mom"..:headache:
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: How'd that turn out?
Yes, Fay really drenched and dampened all of our plans. And in the couple of days prior to departure, V, myself and Kate all discussed various paths she could take, to how we'd handle it, etc and exchanged all of the "come stay with us" should she go in yours, mine or ours directions...
Which is pretty funny considering we're ALL in hurricane zones!

Plans...you didn't do too badly!
Aah, just wait... :rolleyes1

Isn't nice to be the kind of person that can enjoy themselves, even in the rain?
It reminded me of the old recession days when I'd pop over on a Wed. and the place would be empty!

What No Pic of your "Fuming Backside" Or would that be "Foaming backside"
Either way, SKEERY! :rotfl:

"That's your friend, Mommy." (meaning Jo)
"That's Ellie."
"That's their dad." (meaning David)
"That's Jessica. She loves me." :lovestruc

Me: "She does?"
Leo: "Yeah, she told me. And I love her too."
Awwww so cute, so Leo likes older women hey :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I’d requested a room in the Springs section of SSR… and my wish was granted! I’d requested a top floor… and my wish was granted!
So far so good :thumbsup2

It’s all about the volcanoes baby. Trust V. ::yes::
Volcanoes???? Come on I need more info than that, for a start WTH are the volcanoes? :rotfl2:

Because next up was one of Leo’s favorites, Jungle Cruise. It wasn’t really raining at that point, but guess where we were seated? On the little section with no awning overhead. The seat wasn’t just wet, it contained an actual puddle.
Noooooo why sit anyone there? Why couldn't they have made people wait for the next boat? Surely it wasn't busy?

place our dry fannies into the wettest part of the boat.
Fannies    :rotfl2:

Yes, Leo had him some foaming sandals.
Cool :rotfl:

Is this Thursday?

I showed up at MK around lunch time and it still wasn't crowded. In some ways Fay worked to our advantage:thumbsup2

Love the foamy sandals, did you ever figure out why they did that?

Um sorry about the warm wet backside:scared:

WTG on Buzz, Volcanos you say....

Leo and his "foamy" toes are too cute. :cutie:

One of our best touring times was when WISHES got rained out. Actually it started, and then the rain POURED. We put on our ponchos and stood out there in the HUB and watched as Disney quickly set off the rest of the fireworks. Then everyone turned around to leave, and we stuck around. We ducked into a store and called DH, and had him look at the radar. Yes we're tech nerds. :3dglasses He said we should be in the clear, so we set out with our wet ponchos, and kept enjoying all of MK.

The only bad part was since there weren't that many folks in Monsters, Inc., they kept flashing my "drowned rat" mug up on that screen with all the little funny sayings under it. :scared1: Anyway, I think MK is ALOT of fun in the rain. I may be crazy, but that has been said about me before. ;) :rotfl2:

Sorry that the Jungle Cruise CM, wasn't more considerate.

So I sat.

Aaaaallll the way back.

Eeeeewwww. It wasn’t just wet. It was warm and wet. Like… well you know. :scared:

Great, not only would it look like I’d wet my pants, it would also feel like I’d wet my pants.

Thanks Jungle Cruise! Not.

Ew. :crazy2:

And a therapeutic, warm cinnamon roll to treat my Fuzzy Hurricane Stress. ;)

I think I could you a therapeutic, warm slice of French Toast Loaf to treat my Not-So-Fuzzy Moving/Work Stress!

we’d find a seat up at Noodleland. Oodles of Noodles. Noodle World. Whatever it is.

THIS had me grinning ear to ear.

:flower3:

Did you ever buy one of those t-shirts? I would love one! Did you see them anywhere else on property?

What icky neighbors at POR. I hate it when you get stuck next to door slammers and word slurrers. YUCK!

Leo's sudsy shoes were a hoot. Wonder if they came from the manufacturer with the rubber not rinsed well enough?

Awwww so cute, so Leo likes older women hey
Yep, always has! :rotfl:
Volcanoes???? Come on I need more info than that, for a start WTH are the volcanoes? :rotfl2:
Hmm, let's see.. I want to say the second room, all the way in the back on the right. There's a Z on the volcano back there and it's worth BIG points!

Is this Thursday?
Yes...
I showed up at MK around lunch time and it still wasn't crowded. In some ways Fay worked to our advantage:thumbsup2
:thumbsup2

Anyway, I think MK is ALOT of fun in the rain.
Me too! Before Leo we had quite a few rainy days at MK - they were always great!

THIS had me grinning ear to ear.
:thumbsup2

We sometimes go on Tuesday mornings and it's like this and then lunch time arrives and so do the people. ;)
Aaaahhh... I miss weekdays! :cloud9:

I cant believe your suits are ruined. You should call the hotel.
No worries - they weren't ruined, just lightened!
Were you loving how warm the pool was at WL??I was.
OMG yes - and our pool at home is getting cold now, so I'm desperate to go back!
OK dont laugh at me but Im glad u took the pic of your room ready for bed.I NEVER thought of bringing a blanket from home to use in bed.I usually rip the comforter and blanket off the bed(not sure if they ever wash them:lmao: ) then I usually have to make it warmer in the room as Im always cold.NOW if i bring my own blankets:thumbsup2 Thanks V why I never thought of that I just dont know:confused3
T, it's the best! I started doing this on business trips because I can never get to sleep in hotels. I use a down comforter at home and I'm used to that weight. One day it occurred to me that down can be packed really small and I brought a down blanket on a trip... heaven! :cloud9:
you cant have a good room AND dry pants
:lmao:

Did you ever buy one of those t-shirts? I would love one! Did you see them anywhere else on property?
:ssst: Can't say... yet! ;)

It was 10am and we were DONE! Not that we weren’t having a good time… we were having a great time! Really. One of my most enjoyable days was that rainy, icky, un-crowded 2ish hours at the MK. With my favorite boy. And his foaming sandals.

“Look Mommy – bubbles!”

2793667217_32d1c633fa.jpg

Even with the rain, it sounds like a great MK morning! :thumbsup2 :cloud9: The bubbly sandals are too cute! (even if they caused a blister :headache: )

...And a therapeutic, warm cinnamon roll to treat my Fuzzy Hurricane Stress. ;)

Wow, you know, I've never thought of warm cinnamon rolls as therapeutic... but, now that you mention it, they are! :thumbsup2 Nothin' better than sharing some Disney goodies in MK with your little man! :goodvibes

Can't wait to hear about the reunions! popcorn::

Great installment, so sorry you had those rude people next to you at POR I am glad you were only around them one night. I love the bubbly sandals.

V - :offtopic: But way to go GATORS!!!!! My DS was so excited! :cool1: :yay: Now he isn't a Gator fan :duck: , but he loves it when a team beat TN. :thumbsup2 He is an AL fan, but most of his friends, including his best friend & my best friend's DH, are all TN fans. So, there will be much GLOATING :goodvibes at church tomorrow. :cool2:

Ok, back to a wonderful TR!!! :thumbsup2

sounds like a great day at mk even with the rain. can't wait to hear about the reunion.

Wow, you know, I've never thought of warm cinnamon rolls as therapeutic... but, now that you mention it, they are! :thumbsup2 Nothin' better than sharing some Disney goodies in MK with your little man! :goodvibes
