Lightsabers on Disney Cruise?

Hi All,

Now that it's been a bit a month, has anyone who has gone to Galaxy's Edge before their Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral, taken their lightsaber on the ship? I'm curious if we'll have to check it as soon as we get on. I hear people can't bring their Droid on but haven't heard anything about their lightsaber.

The DCL website list of prohibited items affirmatively states that lightsabers are permitted on the ship.

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment for all Guests and Crew, Disney Cruise Line has a zero weapons policy and prohibits the following items on board the ships and ashore at Castaway Cay.

• Firearms
• Firearm replicas, including non-firing, imitations, toys, and their components

    • Store-bought Light sabers
    • Plastic toy 'pirate' swords
    • Plastic store-bought toy “Mjolnir” hammers (Thor’s hammer)
