Madison goes to school for 180 days (maybe a few more...I'm not sure). We started the Wednesday after Labor Day and her last day is next Tuesday (June 22nd). I can't wait for her to be done! Her school isn't air conditioned either and it's horrible. She had a concert on the hottest night of the year and we just stood in the back. The 3rd graders had their recorder concert at 6pm, 2nd grade had a chorus concert at 6:30pm and 4th & 5th grade had their band/orchestra concert at 7pm. There were parents all over the place and it was so gross in the school. Hot, muggy and a slight smell of body odor. Yuck!

HEY FOLKS!!!

I am so sorry that I have yet to finish this TR! I have only one day left to report on and I honestly don't know when I will be able to do it!

I have taken on some huge responsibilities at our church and I have very little free time to devote to this TR right now! I have all the pics uploaded for the last chapter but I need to sit down and write the story!

We are going to be going down to Minneapolis next weekend for a much needed family minivaycay. We are going to be meeting up with Sheree (MNDisneygirl) and her family once again - it will be so nice to see them again!

When we are back home and settled in I very much hope to be able to finish this TR and let it be complete!

I will check in hopefully before we leave on Thursday - hope you all are enjoying your summer so far!

Take your time. I have a half completed trip report, complete with receipts, scribbled notes and musings from our 1st trip in 2002 that I have yet to finish.

Sometimes life just tends to get in the way, no matter how hard we try to ignore it!!

Helllooooooooo TR readers!!!!!

Is there anybody left out there who is still following along?????


I am soooooo sorry I have been AWOL for so long! Life has been just abysmally crazy!!

After the girls finished school I was babysitting nearly every day for 2 weeks and then we went to Minneapolis for the long weekend and then the day after we returned our church had VBS daycamp and Ken and I were both volunteering for that!! Phew!

That finished last friday so we had saturday to relax and then Kens parents called and said they were coming for a visit. They would arrive sometime sun day night! So after church on sunday we cleaned the house from top to bottom and I grocery shopped and washed the sheets in our guest room! We have been having a lovely visit with them and I have also been babysitting a couple days as well!

Next week should be a fairly low key week and then on saturday the 24th we will be heading out west to MAnitoba and Alberta to visit with more of KEn's family and a couple of my relatives!!! We will be gone for 3 weeks!


So, we have been a litle bit busy!

When I have a few minutes I am writing a bit and I hoep to post the Grand Finale to this TR in the next couple of days!!!
