Anyone build a lightsaber recently? Our oldest DD (will be 7) is super excited about this idea and mentions it almost daily. I'm curious what the price is. I've told her it's probably $25 or more for a single; she plans to pay for it herself.

Be prepared that it might take awhile, you might need help, and the CMs working at that area might not know everything. Be alert to other parents and kids who seem to know what they are doing and ask them for help. My hubby and son generally are the experts on it (between them they have something like 7 BYO sabers), and when CMs steer others wrong they'll help out. Alas, no Disneyland plans any time soon for us.

That price sounds about right, plus sales tax.

Know that they aren't the lightest of things, I don't think they've added belt loop clips, and some kids get tired of carrying them around.

My sons just did this last week and the prices range from $27-$48 (not including tax), depending on what your daughter will want.

Have a magical time!

Thank you. I'll tell her to plan for $30. Fortunately for her, her birthday is a few days before we go.

Ours was $35 last week but we had a couple of the extra Kylo-extensions.
