My nephew really wants to build his own lightsaber. Where do o make a reservation at DHS? I can't seem to find this info, and would be a horrible aunt if I miss this.
I assume it'll be the same situation as DL: reservations open that day (7 am at DL), do it through the website or app. Reservation time might be different at DHS given early opening so I would keep an eye out.
Thanks for the info. I wonder how it will work with the mydisneyexperience app. We are DVC staying at OKW, so our plan is to line up at 4:30 am to be one of the first in at 6 am.

It would probably work the same way as DL. Every morning at a specific time, reservations are opened up for that day and you book on the MDE app.
Unless they decide to open them up even earlier at WDW since DL announced yesterday that Cantina bookings can now be made 14 days ahead of time and will soon be 60 days. Same with lightsaber bookings.
No announcement of it being on the app yet. Can keep an eye on Disneyland side to see how that one operates and it'll likely be similar to it. However, reservations may not happen till month or two past GE opening day.

I dont think so, I believe it was reservation only, which WDW has said ZERO on a reservation system, I sill dont think that WDW will just open the gates and let it be a free for all, but who knows, it is only 3 short weeks way and nothing on how this will work.........WTH???
Just clicked the link for SWGE and saw this .......
" Reservations Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers is subject to availability and reservations may be required. If reservations are required, late arrivals may not be accommodated. "
I have a question about reservations. When you select how many participants you want to include, does that include the builder AND the guest? So if one person is building a light saber and one guest is just there to watch, would I select 1 person or 2 when making the reservation?

After having to read it multiple times, your reservation for 1 person will include the builder AND the guest. So no need to add the guest to the reservation.
It's confusing and poorly worded but that's how it goes.
I was digging around on the WDW world web page and clicked more info for SWGE on the home page then go down a bit to see Ogas/LS/Droid info click and then you will see "check availability"....
