Lightsaber on attractions?

I plan on building a lightsaber on our upcoming trip and wondering if you can bring it on SpM, TMR etc? I know they give you a carry bag and the blade separates but it still is quite long?

We took it on all of the attractions without a problem. Used the carry case they give you.

Did they allow a ride swap like when you have children who can not ride?

No we just took it on as-is. I don't recall having an issue on any rides, but we didn't try to ride something like Space Mountain where the seats are very small.

We had issues on Matterhorn. We had to ride swap them in order to be able to ride. They stopped us before we barely got in the FP line. No issues on Big Thunder though, I asked the guy and he laughed and was like, ‘We’re not that high maintenance back here, they fit on the floor of the ride’ No issues on any rides like HM or Pirates... we didn’t try Space Mountain but I feel like they’d have issues with it?

We had issues on Matterhorn too and they didn’t tell us until we were on the ride and almost going. My son had to get out and we did rider swap. Then we started asking once we got in line and the other one I remember we had to do rider swap was Indiana Jones. Interestingly space mountain was ok. it didn’t seem there was any rhyme or reason to the ‘rules’ actually but they were generally nice about it,

They didn't tell the guy he couldn't take it on the ride until he was seated in the car. I don't think he asked for a ride swap. He waited till his party rode and then left with them.

On View From the Cheap Seats, Kyle said that you can check your lightsabers at the Pioneer mercantile and they will hold them for you.

Ive had no issues on any ride, including Space Mountain- however, I have just the blade in the bag, I wear the hilt on my hip.
