How often does Lights, Motors, Action! run at MGM??

Thanks!

I can't tell you the entire daily schedule, but we went to the 11:45 a.m. show on 6/21, which I believe was the first show of the day. We got in line at 11:20 and it was already quite crowded. It was a great show, but it may be worth mentioning that the seats are bleacher-style and it was necessary to climb quite high to get out of direct sunlight. The day we were there crowds were heavy at MGM and our show was jam-packed. Later shows might be less crowded. If I find my schedule, I will re-post! :thumbsup2

Just found my schedule from June 18-24. Showtimes were at 11:50am, 2:45pm, and 5:30pm-that's it! It's a 33 minute show but ours ran longer because one of the cars broke down and had to be fixed.

From experience, I've discovered that this show gets canceled quite frequently. During four attempts, I only saw the show once, due to potential weather issues. The show operators don't even attempt to begin the show if it appears as though bad weather is on the way. During the one time that we saw the show, they had to end it early becuase one of the trucks that they use broke down.

There are generally 3 shows each day. The shows later in the day have direct sunlight shining on the bleachers if you are not completely under the overhang. The Fastpass machines for this show are not connected to those in the rest of the park. This means you can gfet a FP from here and be holding another FP. It will not affect any other FP.

When we were there last week, the FP machines were not being used. That was a busy time, so I'm wondering if they're just not using them any more.

I asked this question and got many different answers- yes it runs 3X a day. But the times seem to depend on what time of year your going.
We decieded to just wait till we get there and plan then- we go at the end of September.

Click on "Studios" at the top and scroll down to LMA for the current week's showtimes. Check back the weekend before you leave, and then check again when you get there to make sure.

My family and I were there 6/24-6/29. The times above 11:50, 2:45 and 5:30ish were about right. We found that the afternoon and evening shows had a high percentage of getting cancelled due to the weather. Your best bet is to catch the 11:50 show. I would go about 45 minutes early and wait until they start to let you get in line and then get right in line to get a good seat.

We missed it twice due to weather, finally the last day my DH and DS left Ft. Wilderness on the bus and went back to MGM at 10 am and went right to the LMA to wait in line and they got in to see it and said it was awesome.

Enjoy it!!! :bounce: :bounce:
