We leave next Saturday, so I checked Steve Soares Entertainment site for the last time. Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show showtimes are now shown as 11:00, 1:55, & 4:40. This is way different than the previous schedule. Does anyone know of any way to confirm this change? :confused3

Thanks!

Bumping again - Steve is normally correct, but two weeks ago he was saying the first Lights, Motors, Action show was at 12:35, but visitors at WDW at the time were putting posts up here saying that was wrong (first show was still 1pm). So it would really help if someone could confirm whether or not his new schedule is accurate.

We were there yesterday. The LMA showtimes were 1:00, 3:55 and 6:40. We went to the 1:00 show (standby) because we were afraid the weather would affect the later shows. I know the 3:55 show was fine, but not sure about the 6:40 show. We were at dinner at that time and it was pouring, so my guess is that show was cancelled.

How early do you need to be in line?? Is this a fast pass attraction like WWTBAM??

I can only tell you our experience. We got to LMA for the 1:00 show at around 12:35. There was a delay and the Cast Members had not yet started loading the stadium which is quite a lengthy process. I think about 12:55 the loading started. People with Fast Passes are GUARANTEED seating. Those people started loading first, and there were a few sections set aside just for them. After the Fast Pass people were more than half loaded, the Cast Members started loading the Standy By people. I want to say that the show didn't start until at least 1:20.

posting to subscribe. I made a rough MGM itinerary based on the "old" set of times. So if they/ve changed, I need to re-do it.

If Steve has it down as those times, no reason not to believe him

If you are waiting in the line, most of it is not covered so bring some water. I am glad we had it Saturday. Looking at the hours for this week, I say it is smarter since it is the time of the year when the weather is bad late afternoon/early evening. I would TRY to go to the first show, just to be sure to get it in, in case the weather turns.

This is from today's park update at mouseplanet.com:

Over at the Disney-MGM Studios, the Lights, Motors, Action! stunt show has shifted its schedule earlier in the day, with performances now taking place at 11:00 a.m., 1:55 p.m. and 4:40 p.m.

Last Friday, Steve's site was listing the schedule for Lights, Actions Motors the week ending 7/30 as 11:00 a.m., 1:55 p.m. and 4:40 p.m.

Today, I read posts from two different people on two different boards (DIS and TGM). Both attended Lights, Action, Motors last week. In both cases, they reported a different schedule than the one Steve posted, with both attending a first show at 1pm.

Moral: Steve is a credible source, but is not correct 100% of the time.

Thanks for the update.

And I'll believe it when someone who is at MGM as I type this reports back on the actual schedule currently being used!

Hi everyone,
I was in WDW the past two weeks and the shows were indeed at :
1:00, 3:55 and 6:40.

We went to the LM&A show on Monday July 18, Friday July 22 and Thursday July 28.

Here is our experience. The show was fun with a few interesting suprises. My DS7 absolutely loved it and begged to go each day.

Monday 7/18/05 we went to the 1pm show. DH went to get fast passes upon entering the park. I forget the exact time for arrival, but we ate an early 11am lunch and went to the fast pass area during our alloted 15 minutes. We got excellent seats behind a railing so there was no one in front of us. We were under a covering so at least we weren't sitting in the sun. They let people in till the very last minute and people who did not have fast pass stood in line in the sun until they let everyone in. They let the non fast people in increments.

Friday 7/22/05- We got fast passes for the 6:40pm show. We had PS for 6:35pm so we changed it to 9:30pm. We showed up at 6:30 and had missed the Fast Pass window of time. We had to wait in the standby line and got in right at the very end. We still had good seats and its amazing how it seems there will not be space for everyone but there is.

Thursday 7/28/05- DS asked to go again, but we ended up doing Who Wants to be a Millionaire 3 times that afternoon and ran out of time to see the stunt show. It rained after our 3'rd millionaire show so we went to dinner when it let up.

I've been searching for information on how long this show lasts. Does anyone know or willing to offer up an estimate?

Thanks!
.

The show itself is about 35 minutes.

You will need extra time to get out of the (rather large) stadium after the show ends.
