I have been teaching myself how to use lightroom 5. Definitely has been a learning process with LOTS of YouTube tutorials and trial and error. I had been able to use the brush tool to enhance my fall photos by adding in some extra color. Now that little color selector icon (that looks like a small envelope) is no longer to be found when I click on my brush tool. I have no idea if I somehow managed to "hide" it or what, but I am so frustrated right now. No google search has been fruitful. Please help before I throw my computer out the window LOL

Can you make a screenshot for us, it's hard to picture what's missing.

Thank you for the response. I do not know how to make a screen shot *blush*.
If you watch this video, right at the 1:00 mark, when he clicks on his adjustment brush, the box that appears has "effect" at the top and "color" at the bottom with a little envelope icon you can click on to use the color selector tool. That whole box is missing for me when I click on my adjustment brush icon. The only thing that pops up is the box below what is shown in that video: the brush box that lets you select the size brush and amount you can add etc. It's like that whole upper box is gone!

Nevermind, I guess I needed to post a thread on here to finally figure out what I did. There is a tiny triangle that must have got clicked that had compressed that box. It was pointed sideways. I clicked on it and then it pointed down and then all my effects came back. Whew. Thanks again!!
