My son loves Lightning McQueen. Is there anywhere to meet him in the parks? We met him last time at Hollywood Studios but I'm no longer seeing him listed. With the new movie coming out this summer I would think there would be M&G and movie promotion.

No.

But worth the visit to AoA resort for a meal and walk through Carsland. It's like being in the movie, so awesome, great photo ops and you can take a picture with him there.

He was in Lights Motors Action and had that photo op area with Mater..but now like Hopper said, only place is at Art of Animation hotel.

No word on if they'll bring in another photo op area closer to the movie coming out but I would doubt it

I wonder why there is no cars related attraction at WDW? Carsland is amazing at DCA, and one reason that I love DLR more. We are looking forward to visiting WDW, but mostly going East because my family lives 2.5 miles from the parks. If you've never been to Disneyland, you should go.

There's a Lightning McQueen topiary at Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival.

Huh...I didn't even know Cars at AoA was a thing. Learned something new today, which is awesome. We'll definitely check it out in our upcoming trip.

I would love to see something come back into the parks. DS12 was like 3 years old when the first movie came out. He was obsessed with it, to say the least. He watched it at least 100 times and we probably spent $100 or more on merchandise.

I also hope Cars3 is good. The first movie was terrific. Cars2...uh...not so much. Hoping 3 returns to the simple story line that the original had.

They did a great job, the walkways are roads, the pool is awesome, billboards ... highly themed. Great photo op.

We used to live in Utah and had DL season passes. We loved Carsland. The Mater/Lightning/Red meet and greets were fantastic. I love that they even had Holiday versions of the cars and how amazing they decorate Carsland. I'm sure there will be a ton of fanfare with the new movie coming out. Maybe even some meet and greets with new characters. Wishing we lived closer.

I think they are trying to have some distinguishing trademarks between the parks. That's why WDW will have Toy Story Land soon.

I'm sure you will have a great time in WDW. :)
