Hi! We are planning a trip to Disneyland after Christmas - 12/27-1/2. We usually go to Disney World, and have not been to DL and CA since 2018.

I know it will be busy that week. We are not staying at a resort hotel, so we can’t take advantage of the 7:30 entry. I’m concerned about getting a ROR and Radiator Springs LL. At WDW, the ROR LL runs out almost immediately after 7:00 AM.

So, can we enter DL and CA at 7:30 and wait for rope drop at 8? If so, can we scan in at 7:30 and get a LL, even if we can’t ride until 8? Is there a chance that, during this busy week, the LL will run out completely before 8:00?

You can choose LLs as soon as you scan into the park. LLs don’t run out that fast so you’ll be able to get the one you want, but do be aware that RSR is an ILL that you have to buy, even if you have Genie +. Cost varies depending on the day.

Unless you have 1 day at DCA and that day is 12/31, you should be fine.

You can typically get a time slot right when you want to ride. It’s much easier to buy the ILL at Disneyland than Disney World

Both Rise and Radiator Springs are paid LLs. So not part of Genie+. I would be incredibly shocked if they run out before noon.

When we went last summer, the crowds were level 9 but we were still able to get the ILL for those rides. I don't think it will be a problem for you.
