How is the lighting at CRT (for photographs?)

Last year we ate at Ariel's at DLR, and my photos of my DD with the princesses are pretty terrible because of the lighting. Ariel's Grotto has the WORST lighting (on the inside of the restaurant).

I would like to have more success this time at CRT.

I'm assuming that although you get the photos with Cinderella prior to the meal, there is NOT a Photopass photographer with the other "roaming" princesses??

Thanks for any info!

Chris

Are you doing breakfast, lunch or dinner??? We had lunch there and the lighting for my pictures was fantastic! But, I would assume that the amount of natural light from outside would have a major affect on that. :) I've never been at night, so I can't help there if you're having dinner.:confused3

For dinner you will have to use flash... breakfast/lunch it will depend where you sit in relation to the windows... with the window behind you you might get away without flash, if the window is in your pictures you will again have to use flash otherwise your camera will expose for the brightness of the window and your subjects will be silhouettes against it.

We were on the side for lunch and the photos were DARK ... My photos at Ariels' Groto last year were very good :confused3 It's all in the seating, which is unfortunately out of your control.

Thanks for the input everyone. We are going to lunch, so hopefully will get ok lighting.

Thanks for the help!

Chris

My pictures turned out fine. :confused3 We ate dinner and I didn't use the flash.

Same here. I tried it both ways, and much preferred the light that was in the room without my flash. It truly gave a representation of what the room looked like while we were eating.

Unfortunately, I took my point and shoot and the pictures were about 50/50. The light seemed ok (we were there for lunch) but my shutter speeds on auto were very slow. Some turned out good, but there were none I thought were great.
