Lighthouse Key VS rental home??

Hi! I've been lurking on this forum for quite some time trying to plan the perfect trip to wdw for my family of 7. (Kids ages 20- 9) I was thinking of renting a house but then found Lighthouse Key Resort and Spa. I have reservations (which I can cancell for only a 15.00 fee up to 72 hrs prior)
for a 4 bedroom for $219/night+ tax. Does anyone have any experience with this resort? I'd love details re travel time/traffic to wdw, schuttle service? pool? restaurants nearby? Also worried about construction. Any info would really be appreciated because I could still change my mind and go with a house rental. TIA

It's located very close to the Sherberth Rd shortcut to Disney. It should only take you 5 min to AK and a little more to the rest of Disney. I don't personally know anything about the resort but check out this tripadvisor site for reviews.
