Light Magic Parade

Thanks SO much for uploading it!!! It's a great "show", but I think that's what it should've been (like rer1972 says)... a show. It's justnot parade material. It's totally one sided. The floats just bomb it down Main Street and appear and all there is is lights on the vuildings of Main Street before the action on the floats (for those that can see it) kicks off. It's a fantastic idea and I love the music and the message the parade spreads but as a parade it was rubbish. A complete waste. A show of it would've been excellent though!! Maybe a little bit more work could've made it better and a little more Disney themed but otherwise, a great little show.

I totally hear what you're saying about the celtic theme. I guess it's because of the whole fairy thing. Are fairies supposed to be Irish? I think maybe. Like Leprechauns. It would've been better (although it is still GREAT the way it is/was) if it were just "normal" parade/show style music.

Thanks SO much AGAIN for sharing with us!!! It's nice to see what's now gone from the Resort.

I see where you got the video from now. I looked there when I first heard of the parade last week and didn't see it. I normally find everything there. Just looked again and saw it first time. How can you miss it? I must've been having a blind day.

I know what you mean. I didnt like the parade either. I think ive watched that video all of twice, and I dont really care to see it again. It was rubbish for disney. It looked like something they slapped together in about a week as a spur of the moment parade. Maybe it would have been better if we saw it live, but I dunno. That was 9 years ago... almost 10 LOL! We have a better Disney future to look forward to now.

I guess but as soon as I saw it I was instantly comparing it to the first Disney parade we ever saw (which was in 1997) at WDW and it was NOTHING compared to that!! Nothing at all. The idea is good but I think the whole fairy theme was taken a bit too far. It should have at least been 'Tink's Might Magic Parade' featuring tons of characters. And not random little people with wings on.

I would have liked to have seen it, but I won't lose any sleep over seeing it after watchingt he video.

Too right about having a better Disney future to look forward to. I cannot even begin to imagine what they'll have in ten (even a couple) years from now!!

I cant even dream of it. Technology is changing constantly. And Disney is only going to come up with bigger and better special effects and ideas.
