Ok i printed on light color transfer paper and im not sure where to go grom here. with the dark ones i peeled the back placed them then ironed. the light ones dont say to peel. i printed them in reverse but it says to lie the print face up, that way it would still be reverse. so i peeled it layed it down so it waslooking right and ironed but most of the print came off. is the iron too hot, do i not peel the print and have the paper up on the shirt.... help it tried 2 way and just ruined 2 shirts.

also can you remove an iron on if it was messed up to start over or are these shirts a lost cause.

thanks

For the light transfers - you do not peel. You place the transfer face down on the shirt and iron on the backing.

I have heard of others ironing an iron on over top of another but I have never done this personally. I do NOT think it would work for a light transfer at all though because of the clear, it would not cover up and there is no way to remove the iron on. You will need to start over with a new shirt. Sorry to be the one to give you bad news.

I hope this helps!

thanks, at least these were baby shirts and did not cost as much as the adult ones. i did not think i could save them but i figured i would ask.

once you are done ironing does the paper just peel off eaisly? my second try i left the paper on and it came off with some of the print. did i not iron enough or did i do something else wrong.

thanks again.

After you have ironed, the backing should peel off easily. If some of the transfer is still sticking to the backing then you have probably not ironed long enough. Make sure to follow the directions that came in the package as far as ironing times.
