Lift mattress for more storage?

Did I read that somewhere?

Last year we were able to stash all but our largest (26') suitcase under the bed, but I think I read that you can actually lift the mattress to get larger things under the bed.

Am I dreaming or just crazy?

We lifted up the edge of the matress/frame to slide our 30" suitcase under. THen you put the frame down. THe issue was that the case wouldn't clear the frame, but there was plenty of room after I slid it under. It clears the matress with no problem.

Another hint...after the safety drill, put the lifejackets under the bed to make more closet room.

We put ours in the closet, one in each side so they couldn't touch each other.

Great idea! Thanks

Be careful about putting the life vest away. What will you do if you really need them?. Just get another room for yourself and leave the hubby and the kids in their on room. :paw:

Hey, isn't the tub the best place to stuff the kids? With the split bathroom, just lock them in that half.
