Lifesaver Elf from the 70's-80's?

Did anyone else have a Lifesaver candy elf back in the late 70's, early 80's?

Both Dh's family and mine both had these elfs on our trees as ornaments. The body of the elf was made from a roll of Lifesaver candy. The head was plastic, and, if I'm remembering correctly, the arms & legs were either felt or yarn.

I would love to make one/find one for Dh but can't find any info on it!

Yes! Mine had the yarn body but for the life of me, I can't remember what the head looked like. Was it plastic? Or made from more yarn? I'm old and can't recall.

I remember those! I think I might make a few for my kids' friends. Thanks to the PP who posted the instructions.
