I know they had that same trouble with the Hello Kitty ones. They really don't seem to be all that "on the ball" when it comes to updating stuff. I'm sure it will work at some point. Good luck
I had the same issue with my Sports Mania cartridge. I emailed Cricut about it. They said they were aware of the problem and were working on it. Please be patient with them. I did receive an email from them when the problem was fixed. I was pleasantly surprised at that as I thought I would just keep trying to enter the # until it worked, but didn't have I don't remember how long it took them to fix the problem--3, 4 weeks ????
I would email them. Then, hopefully, you are on their list and they will let you know when to try again.
