Hi Everyone,

I'm afraid I can't get "Search" to work today - so I'm sorry if this has already been asked a million times....

I know the water parks have lifejackets available, but do they have restrictions on kids wearing them on the slides? My DS7 can swim, but he's not an expert or great swimmer. Also, we've just had a long midwestern winter with almost no swimming - I plan to take him to the pool a couple times this week before we head to WDW on Thursday night - but I'm just not comfortable with him doing some of the slides without a life jacket as a backup.

He mostly likes the tube slides and he isn't tall enough for the biggest slides anyway. Will WDW let him wear a life jacket on any of the slides? Do they limit it to their own or could we bring ours from home?

If not, we'll just limit him to slides with double-tubes so DH or I can go down with him.

Thanks,

pdarrah

I saw kids going down slides at BB with life vests on w/o issue. As long as they meet the height req. they should be ok.

We came back form WDW in May and we took our daughter's 4 and 6 to Typhoon Lagoon. They both wore life jackets and went on all the slides that they met the height requirements for.
