Anyone know if life vests are offered for pools and/or CC? Can we bring own or are there rules? Our pool does not allow us to bring own unless vests are Coast Guard certified and no floaties.

We brought/will bring Coast Guard approved vests for the ocean for both kids and for my youngest in the pools. Noodles and I believe blow-up floaties or floats are not allowed. Puddle jumpers are coast guard approved, I believe.

Honestly, in the pools there is not enough room to "swim" so for older kids they will just be sitting, standing and splashing.

At CC there are snorkeling vests that are air inflated that are free (by the lifeguard stations), but it was too big for my three year old.

Perhaps five and above would be a better size?

we took our own for our three year old too. no problems with it at all.

There are free vests at CC near Pelican Plunge. I was able to get DD an infant (i.e. the under 30lb one) vest free of charge at the equipment rental booth. The Mickey pool is not deep and she could stand so we didn't need it for the cruise itself.
