Life Jackets on Castaway Cay

Does Disney provide the swimming vests/life jackets on Castaway Cay like they do in the pool areas on the ships/at the resorts? If so, do you just grab them off the rack or must you rent/reserve them? Thanks.

Yes they do, many under the lif guards towers on hooks as you say go up grab and go and use. All free to use just put them back when finished.

They also have the thicker vest at Pelican Plunge.

We found them at both the life guard station and the snorkeling rental place. They are free of charge.

If you mean for a young child to wear while swimming, the first picture in the post above are snorkeling vests which likely will not be appropriate for your needs. (I do think they are considered "one-size fits all" but I don't believe it's what you are asking about.) I know they have children's lifevests of various sizes similar to the ones in the second picture above near Pelican Plunge, possibly elsewhere as well.
