Our co. is trying to get a new plan, but with the same provider...it somehow saves the COMPANY $$$. We had to go through the whole question and answer session with the "dr" (I Think he was an MD)...the swab test, weight, BP, etc. This was TEN weeks ago and our HR person is being told they are STILL "processing form and gathering information." EIther this is horrible service or they are trying to deny someone. Considering I have an autoimmune disease, I worry it's ME...also have a co-worker who is on a med. that might make him seem "risky" to them...is there some law about the timeframe they must stick to? I'd rather know SOONER than later....so I can try to get my own or fight it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hope you get some answers. You might see if you can call the agent/broker yourself to see if you can get clarification. I do know that underwriting, can, at times, take a long time, especially if insurance company has to go and request 'attending physician statements' (med records) from those applying. Doctors' offices can drag some times.
