Well, today, my friend almost died in a car accident.
His sister was going 85 on the highway, the wind hit the car the wrong way, lost control and she flipped into oncoming traffic.
The way my friend hit his head, should've caused his death. But thankfully him and his sister have only a few cuts and bruises.
It's just..weird...
Here's the car:

Any one else ever have any experiences close to death, or friend have them?

My friend has almost died a few times, but before I even knew her.

 for you and your friend.

Thank God there both okay!!

As far as near death experiences go...my brother get's a little carried away in pools sometimes and held me under the water for a bit to long. But I kicked him to get him to stop it...:sad2:

Again, I'm glad your friend and his sister are okay!

Thanks. He's doing great though, he asked if me and my friend wanted to go to the movies tonight, haha.

OH MY GOSH!
That's terrible.
I'm so glad they're all right!

I accidently ran out on my bike in front of a car when I was younger.
I was riding a four wheeler on 4th of July and they shot off a firework and it came straight at me when I was riding near them. I ducked before it hit me.
Also like Alexis said, my brother gets a little rowdy in the pool and he occasionally would hold me under too long, and I'd always have to kick him to let go. Then I'd yell at him. Lol.
But other than that, not much luckily.

So glad everyone was okay in that accident!! My goodness!!!

I ski. And I like to take risks. I've encountered near death experiences while on the slopes. VERY scary. I once caught a ski on glare ice and lost control and slipped. I was sliding down a patch of all ice and couldn't get a grip on it. I had knocked both my skis off by hitting them the right way against the ground and then I tried endlessly to smash my boots into the ice hoping I'd catch some friction. Didn't work. I ended up stopping as half of me was hanging over the edge of an extremely large drop off (cliff). I had slid all way into a restricted zone. For some reason, I wasn't scared tho - I was just so determined on getting out of that situation that honestly, there was no time to be scared. I didn't get scared until AFTER I was safe and realized the danger I had been in.

Other times include nearly falling off the chair lift at maximum height right over some very unpleasant rocks and crashing into trees.

Your friends are so lucky.

When my ex was 7, his aunt was driving him somewhere, and they were hit by a motorcycle. This happened in a more rural area of the Philippines. He was laying there for a few hours before someone came by and got them to the hospital. He was in a coma for 2 weeks and was on crutches for 3 years because of a badly broken leg.

I'm so thankful he's fine now.

Yikes, that last part sounds really scary.

Wow, three years?
That's a heck of a long time.

I am happy they are okay.

I haven't had any of my friends hurt themselves like that.

Thank God they're okay. I would've been so shaken up after that I'd never ride in a car again.
Give your friend and his family some extra hugs from me.

As for me, well you know the whole shebang I've been going through this past year right?
That's as close to death I've come, and it's not a great feeling.

OT - So that's what Nevada looks like? It still amazes me, especially when I was in CA, it's so dry out there. Where's the grass? LOL

Thank God they are okay!
hope they are doing well:thumbsup2

i have not had any near death experiences:confused3

I almost died once. In a bumper car accident. If my mom wasn't in there with me i would have died. I flew out of the front and luckily ended up just really bruised and sore. They said if my mom hadn't grabbed my feet and held me from falling out anymore i would have got brain damage or died.

My brother almost died a few months ago i actually am the only reason he's still alive. If i wouldn't have called he could have died if he didn't get help within an hour.
