Liberty Village/Eagle Pointe area for home rentals?

Just saw a listing for Liberty Village--I'm not familiar with it at all. We have stayed in Sunset Lakes and Emerald Island, but this looks considerably closer to the Universal end of things? (We are not going to Disney, but to Universal parks.) Not sure from the description if Liberty Village is gated like the other places we've rented.

Any experience, feedback or wild rumours ;-) appreciated! Whatever you know about this area, I'd love to hear it.

Liberty village is in Kissimmee off of poinciana...not by US at all. Emerald island would probably be faster. US is in Orange County and there are no short term rentals allowed there. You would have to stay at a hotel or resort or timeshare to get close by. I hope this helps, have a good trip!
