Has anyone eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner since it was NOT a character meal? I am wondering if they are using a menu similar to the lunch menu now for dinner or if the menu for dinner is the same as when it WAS a character meal.

We enjoyed this a few years ago and would be willing to go back but not if the price is the same without characters!

Sad, but true. I would like to see them bring the characters back, but in this economy, I don't expect it any time soon.

Where did you guys hear this at? The fun atmosphere on party nights was the only reason we put up with the bad food & ate there. Bringing the characters back would be a very good move on Disney's part.

When I called yesterday to make my ADRs for June, I made one for LTT. The CM said she has had many guests booking it due to the rumors and believes that it must be true.

The characters are supposed to be back by April Easter/Spring break.

That's great news! Or rumor We had dinner there on the next-to-last night for characters. Our server told us he thought it was a huge mistake and that they'd lose so much $$ that they would have to bring the fluffies back sooner than later. Looks like he was right

Oooh, I hope they are! We booked this for dinner in May without expecting any characters just because we like the place, but if the characters are back, that'll be fabulous!

I think it's actually funny that WDW removed the characters because they thought they could turnover the tables faster without the character interaction. Without the characters, the restaurant has been empty. They lost $250,000 in Jan & Feb.

They made a huge mistake and I'm hoping this is true and the characters will be returning. We had some of our best character interaction there.

The rumor is they're going to offer the older characters their jobs back. They were real pros! I hope this all does happen!

I read on All Ears that they lost 250,000 for Jan. & Feb. at Liberty Tree Tavern, so they are listening and characters should be back sometime in April. I hope it is true.
