Liberty Tree Tavern

We have had pretty good experiences at Liberty Tree Tavern, especially when we went for lunch last year. Lunch was great, and they have the best apple/caramel pie for dessert, and rice krispie treats for the kids to decorate with licorice and candy. We tried dinner this year, which was also very good, but it is a fixed menu and is served family style with pork, turkey and I can't remember...we don't eat pork so we got double servings of turkey. The kids saw Chip and Dale, who were VERY entertaining; Dale actually sat at our table and played with my daughter's Buzz Lightyear Souvenier. They also met the raccon from Pocohantas, and Minnie, and I think Goofy, although I may be remembering that wrong. Definitely Minnie though. The food was great, and they will bring seconds, thirds...etc.

Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!

I am a BIG fan of this place. Its all you can eat. Wonderful food. Meats, Salads, Vegies and they are GOOOOOD! The Characters are always around. Very interactive and patient with you. The Atmostphere of the place is great. You really feel like you are in the old west or something. Not to mention - if you plan it right - which i did by luck - you can walk outside - sit on a rocker and enjoy SPECTROMAGIC! The most wonderful parade in WDW!

Had dinner here last year and it was great. A must do this year. The characters were minnie, pluto, chip and dale and meeko. They spend lots of time with you and really interact well. Pluto was licking my son and the chipmunks were steal things. The food was family style and very good.

Are you going for lunch or dinner?

We love it for lunch. Great food ordered a la carte, good service and excellent atmosphere. No characters.

Haven't done dinner for years but that's when it is an "all you care to eat", family style character dinner.

Whichever is your cup of tea, have fun!

We have only ever had lunch there and we love it. It's the only restaurant at Disney that we eat at twice while we are there every time we go!!

I have NEVER had a bad meal here. They have a porkchop meal that is out of this world and I never eat porkchops out at dinner. The combination of flavors in this dish is excellent. I have had some of the seafood specials there and they were outstanding! It's the only place in WDW to get sweetend ice tea (the good old southern type). The honeybutter for the rolls is a nice treat that my kids absolutely love! Definately a top notch restaurant. DH and I were just commenting that the Liberty Tree Tavern beats any of the restaurants in Colonial Williamsburg!

Love LTT! It's our must-do restaurant. We prefer dinner over lunch - the meal is great & the characters are a blast. Plus, like someone said above, if you time it right, you can get a great parade viewing spot out on the porch.

We ALWAYS eat dinner at LTT on our first day in the parks. Tradition. Dinner is fantastic - like Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, smoked pork chops, and roast beef, stuffing, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, the salad has a strawberry vinaigrette dressing on it that is TDF, and dessert is always scrumptious - it changes, I'm pretty sure. We've had bread pudding and apple crisp cobbler. YUM. Can't wait till August 11th.

My son and I ate at LTT last week for dinner, and it was delicious! Everything was hot and plentiful. Apple pie with ice cream was served for dessert. We had a 7:00 priority seating, got there 20' early, and waited maybe 10 minutes. You will enjoy it!

thanks for the reviews i am going with my dad and he has sugar.sounds like a good place thanks again!!
