I have adr's for LTT for our next trip for dinner one evening and wanted to hear your thoughts on it. The food sounds pretty generic so I'm hoping it's not bad.

you'll like it alot. my girlfriend and i ate here on our first night and we LOVED it. sure the food is generic, but they do wonderful things with it. you wont be DISappointed :) enjoy!!

We enjoyed our lunch there... especially the desserts. The pot roast was very good. But I think dinner is served family style not individually ordered meals... and I'm not sure but I think the pot roast is only at lunch.

The quality of food was very good... depending on your point of comparison. Compared to California Grill, not even close. But definitely much better than usual park food.

Whatever dessert that has the shortbread crust in it.... GET THAT ONE!

The food is extremely generic and very institutionalized. At least it was when we went the last time. The only reason we went was for the characters at the time and now they don't have them any more. Hopefully since it now a non-character meal they have upgraded the quality of the food. Unfortunately it won't be on our list of places to return to.

The menu is very limited but the food sure is DELICIOUS!!! The turkey dinner is out of this world. My mom loved the chicken & dumplings and my one daughter really liked the clam chowder. You will not be disappointed!!! We go there every time!:thumbsup2

We ate there on our last trip and found the food ok. We both loved the salad, turkey and dessert. The pork was actually ham when we where there (think lean honeybaked ham). The Stouffer's Mac & Cheese, which I usually love, was served lukewarm so it lost some of the yum for me.

Excellent good old fashioned meal. Our family has eaten there for Thanksgivving and Easter. Food is good

Our first visit to LTT was last August for dinner. We were all happy with our meal, which was served family style. Our waitress was terrific!

I agree. We went when it was a character meal are the food was 'meh'.

I will be honest, we originally went to LTT as a fluke last year as we didn't have ADR's and it was a last minute decision and was about the only thing we could get into at the time we needed. SO GLAD WE DID! My DH LOVED it...he had the turkey dinner. Food was delicious, everyone in the family enjoyed. Definitely recommend LTT.

We ate here last year, we loved the food - served family style, and the atmosphere, really cosy. A definite for our trip in October.

I don't love the dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, but it's probably my favorite of the restaurants at the Magic Kingdom. We usually stick with the restaurants in the nearby resorts.

The food is pretty standard, but it's tasty and served family style. The last time I was there it was still a character meal, so I am not sure if anything has changed, but I see the menu is still the same.

We went a couple of years ago when it was a character meal and go every year now even though the characters are no longer there. We really like the comfort type food and service so another positive vote here for LTT.

LOL we go now too since the characters r gone. good food.

It is a must for our family during one of the days we visit MK. The kids love the family style and the choices. Also having a TS meal without leaving MK is awesome. We also did CRT and loved it but a totally different type of dining experience

My family loves LTT. Our boys said that if the characters came back, it would be the best restaurant in WDW. (Because LTT no longer has characters, their favorite is Garden Grill.) While my husband and I don't necessarily agree with that assessment, we do agree that the food is good! Also, I have to give LTT credit for handling the mobs of people in their waiting area on Saturday, March 13. They had a long table set up for kids to color - it was full and all the kids were coloring and playing really nicely. The "fireplace" area in the lobby had a little open corner, so our pre-schooler set up his new "bucket of aliens" toys and played happily - not a problem! It's a little pricey when your pre-teens are Disney "adults," but we keep returning!
