Aging myself but we would go to Disney in the 70s and eat Thanksgiving dinner at LTT. Fast forward to now- haven't been in about 40 years. DS23 and I going in late January/early February. I have a dinner reservation there. Is it a decent place to eat?

LTT has been our traditional first night meal for the past 10 or so trips. Definitely worth it! We love LTT

It's "decent", sure. Was more of a must-do years ago, though, when there were less quality dining options in the area as well as when they offered character dining, but I have always enjoyed my meals there - I usually get the pot roast and it's amazing when I've gone for lunch and I always enjoyed the family style thanksgiving dinners they would provide as well.

As for theming, it's still colonial and fun. It's also extremely loud, chaotic, noisy and clumsily and awkwardly arranged - watch out for that big step while indoors of it.

It is still thanksgiving dinner so I expect the main difference from what you are used to will be the price!

Had it for the first time last trip. It was a one-and-done for me. The dessert (ooey gooey) was outstanding but I found the quality of the rest of the food to be surprisingly mediocre.

We are big fans of Liberty Tree, but much prefer lunch to dinner as there are lots of options vice just the Thanksgiving type meal. With lunch you can get the all you care to eat Thanksgiving feat like at dinner, but they also have a smaller single dish version if everyone doesn't want it. They also have some great apps and other entrees on their lunch menu which is why we like it more.

So good. We always do the AYCTE there, and ending with the ooey gooey toffee cake is just perfect.

DH’s favorite restaurant on property! We typically do lunch there now because it’s cheaper for us, but I do miss their dinner.

We ate there in May and it was fabulous. I wasn’t really looking forward to it, but the food was really good and I would like to go back.

It’s also a must-do for us, not necessarily for the quality of the food - we prefer more exciting options - but for the tradition.

Its very good traditional comfort food. Nothing fancy, but they do it well. And for dinner, the dessert is wonderful!

I totally agree. We were really looking forward to trying LTT's dinner, but the food was mediocre at best.

We love it. It has become a must-do for us.

With so many fun places to eat and only so much time for meals on our next trip, I asked my kids (ds 13 and dd15) to choose between liberty tree, Cinderella’s castle and chef mickeys. They said it was a tough choice but they both chose liberty tree! I asked them separately so they wouldn’t be influenced by the other and they both picked LT!

So, that’s where we’re going for lunch on the 1st day of our trip - this Thursday!!

We thought it was possibly the best food of our entire trip last Spring Break. Granted, we don’t do a lot of table service restaurants, so it was up against mainly QS meals. But I thought everything was delicious!

Dined here for the first time in 2017. I thought it was massively overrated based on all the love here and on DFB/etc. I thought everything was pretty bland and tasteless.

As for the dessert, it is good, but it's just an underdone pizookie with toffee pieces. Would be super easy to make at home.

Maybe its because I think of turkey as a food group but its always been a guilty pleasure. I have even forgiven them for changing it from a character meal.

We’ve always had good meals there and we’re having Christmas dinner there this year. Can’t imagine a better spot in for that in WDW!

I thought the food was very good, but that's the kind of food I like. Not into fancy stuff or different, "exotic". Good home type cooking is my preferred. So its perfect for me. The place is loud and awkwardly arranged, but many WDW restaurants are.

I love Liberty Tree Tavern it's always one of our must do meals. An ohh that dessert is just delicious!
