we're going to do dinner at one of these for characters... and we have 3y.o...
Which will he prefer... Cp has buffet, which may be easier... but LTT seems a little more americana theming, which might be fun too???
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

We have done both with a 3 yr old. The food is better at CP and there is more to choose from. The Pooh characters are fun, but it is a buffet so you have to get up and stand in line to get your food. You need to time your trips to the buffet between character visits.

Liberty Tree Tavern being served family style is a little easier with young children. The food - turkey , mac and cheese, etc has always been okay and the characters are fun.

Overall, CP for the better food, but really pick the characters your kids like the most.

I haven't tried CP so I can't comment on that, But dinner at LTT is one of my favorites:) Personally I don't care for buffets and I love the family style service. You just sit down order your drink and wait for fun to begin. I liked what they have on the menu and the characters are great:yay:

Been to CP once, LTT twice. Both are good, I prefer LTT b/c it's family style, you aren't up and down to the buffet a thousand times and the characters come around more often at LTT b/c it's a little smaller of a place. We waited 1 solid hour to see 1 character at our table at CP. We saw Piglet in the foyer part and then waited 1 hour before any character came to our side. Talk about some unhappy people. I nicely complained that that is far too long adn they should have been rotated better, some on each side, and the manager did give us a family fast pass to any ride in the park. I did try to decline the gift as we were heading home after a week there, but did end up taking it.

I digress though, I will eat at LTT next time for the 3rd time, and will have to consider CP.

We ate at the tree for lunch on a whim we are big planners and it was the worse we ever ate I had returned my lunch 2 time beacuse the salad was wilted and nasty and my daughter as well because she said it was gross and not cooked. I regret eating here however Its all alearning experience.

CP's food even for a buffet was much better than LTT. Service was even better, never had an empty glass at CP.

My family prefers CP. We liked the food selection much better there. My kids weren't too happy with the food at LTT. You do have to get up to get the food at CP so you have to watch for the characters. The lines are usually not long so it has never been a problem. We have also never had a problem with the characters not coming around. We will be going there for our 4th visit in August.

I would choose CP over LTT any day. IMO, the quality of food (not to mention selection) is better and so is the character interaction. But if you're looking for a nice dinner that includes Mickey and Minnie then I'd recommend LTT. If you don't care either way what characters are there then CP because the food is better.
