Liberty Tree Tavern Questions...

About 4 years ago we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern for their character dinner. We had never ate there before then and haven't been back since. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant, but DH was not real excited about the family style meal. He's not against family style, but he felt the food was no different than the Stouffer's food we can get frozen at the grocery store. (At the time I didn't know Stouffer's sponsored this place and maybe they still do, I don't know that for sure.) I would like to give LTT another try since I see that for lunch it is not the same family style meal that is served for dinner. Can anyone comment on their lunch experience there, especially if you've eaten dinner there as well and can compare? thanks!

We used to enjoy the dinner there because it had really great character interaction each time we went....so we are really disappointed no more characters .....anyway...because we enjoyed the dinner - and I know what you mean about the food...it was ok but it WAS better than other Disney restaurants we've eaten at -

ANYWAY....we just had lunch there a couple months ago and it was FANTASTIC. Everybody loved their food. I had a salad with nuts and chicken...and I cannot remember what it was called...but it was scrumptious. I ate the whole thing and even ordered a triple chocolate brownie for dessert. There is a sticky cake thing there too that i wanted but my sister ordered and I tried that too!! DELISH!!! And I know my sweets!!

I am going to definitely make a point to eat lunch at LTT from now on each time we visit MK. We almost wanted to redo our ADRs and schedule another LTT lunch during that last trip!!!

We absolutely love LTT for lunch, it's one that we do every time. Oddly enough, we love the burgers. The mushroom and provelone burger is fantastic, and the wait usually isn't that bad as long as you go after 1. Try a late lunch, like 2:30, you will not be dissapointed.

We LOVE Liberty Tree! Don't forget, you are not going for just the food but also the ambiance which is excellent in there!

We ate at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch in November and we really enjoyed it. We will be returning.

I agree! We were never fond of the dinner menu and went only because of the characters. We've been several times for lunch and really enjoyed it. Their Ooey Gooey Toffee cake is REALLY good. We also love their cheese stick appetizers. They're a combination of mozzarella sticks and cheddar balls.
